The Clubhouse Childcare Center is a non-profit, charitable organization serving the central Kelowna community. We provide a Full Day Early Learning Program, a Half Day Early Learning Program, and After School Care services for families within the catchment areas of St. Joseph Catholic School, A.S. Matheson Elementary, Raymer Elementary and Casorso Elementary. The Board consists of a Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and up to 12 members. The Annual General Meeting is held in March, and it is important that all families attend. Free child care is provided for this event.
Children are full of wonder and curiosity, have unique and creative perspectives, and have an incredible capacity to learn though play; Each child has a strong desire to feel loved, accepted and helpful. The Clubhouse care-givers and educators are dedicated to providing care that meets the social, cognitive, and physical development needs of every child. Our core values of happiness, well-being, communication, exploration, and respect guide our curriculum and days together.
The Clubhouse Child Care Center opened in September 1994 to provide after-school care to 20 children. In July 1996 it became a non-profit, charitable organization administered by Founder and Executive Director Caroline Noga and a Board of nine Directors. As the needs of the community have changed and grown, the Clubhouse has evolved to meet those needs. We offer child care to approximately 450 families in the Kelowna area year round.
After starting the Clubhouse Farm Program to give more of our children access to the great outdoors, The Clubhouse Child Care Center received the British Columbia Child Care Award of Excellence in Innovation.
The Clubhouse Child Care Center has been a member of the Kelowna Child Care Society’s Child Care Resource & Referral Program for 21 years.
