Home » The Honey Bee Classroom
If we could start a classroom that keeps pollinators, makes honey, and helps us learn about taking care of small creatures, why wouldn’t we? We’ve got our land ready, we’ve got our plan set out, and we have a wonderful volunteer from UBCO taking on the set up and maintenance for one year! All we have to do is let our children benefit from learning about bee care and how honey is made. The perfect time to start is when the temperature reaches 10 degrees Celsius – so about the first week of April. From December until the end of February, we’re raising $1500 for this pollinator project. If you’d like to donate to this initiative, volunteer some time, or come learn about bee keeping, please contact us at email@example.com!
